As part of Microsoft's $3.2 billion (33.7 billion SEK) investment in Sweden announced in June 2024, the Sandviken campus is being expanded to maximum capacity. This investment includes the deployment of more than 20,000 advanced GPUs across the Swedish campuses to support AI and machine learning workloads for Azure customers.
